Career
Marcel is registered as a lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) with the Düsseldorf bar, and as such also with the Luxembourg bar on list IV. He has worked as a lawyer in the Luxembourg investment funds sector for more than 15 years. In such capacity, he has provided practical and in-depth legal and regulatory advice on the structuring and establishment of Luxembourg regulated and unregulated investment funds.
His clientele is international and active across a multitude of asset classes. His expertise covers retail products such as UCITS, as well as alternative investment funds such as RAIFs, partnership structures or SIFs. He also acts as advisor to management companies, AIFMs and other service providers, and is regularly involved in investor due diligence procedures.
